Dream

I think dreams are nothing but your expectations from life and from yourself. Never ever stop dreaming. Because if you wont dream you wont see it coming true. Don't loose faith on your dreams. Always expect the best from life and yourself. I am sure, you'll see your dreams coming true one day.
Life is always very beautiful. It all depends on how you look at life. Like the two prisoners who looked out of the window of their cell. One saw the mud on the road and the other saw the stars on the sky.
Reach for your dreams...they always come true.

War.........why?

Why don't I think that the person I am killing also, like me,is someone's son, someone's brother, someone' husband or someone's father. Life is too precious to waste like that.
Who is our enemy?.....I think it's war.

What's on my mind today?

I hate this, this time-this is ridiculous. There should be no concept of time, no clocks, no calendars, nothing; not a single moment should pass by, neither a minute nor an hour. That will be so nice, that’s the way it should be.
Three years and six months ago I came to this place-this college, new place, new people-people I never met before, I didn’t know any of them, no one knew me.Time flew by, and then I started knowing those people around me, getting along with them. Then this time played its tricks-a time came when I couldn’t even imagine my life, my world without them, any of them. I didn’t know when, but they became so important to me. Every single moment, when I had those people with me, were so precious. No, I can’t afford to lose them. How can I? I feel so empty without them.
Three more months, then this clock, which I always keep on my study table, will again make fun of me. That calendar that is hanging there on the wall, will again remind me that I can’t turn those clock hands backward. If I could do that! I feel so helpless.
Then I think that it is not that bad. This time has given me some so precious things, some moments-when we slapped one another just to please the seniors, when someone asked me what to write about a cat in a twelve page essay, when we shared our courses to see some good-looking figures on our answer-scripts, when we fought to figure out whether it was some petrified rubber formation or what they call a ‘Parantha’, when I got up in the class and become someone else to get him marked ‘P’ in the register, when after those few sips of Vodka each one of us insisted that his is the most touching and tragic love story and that it was worth a novel-those moments, so precious. My life is so vacant without those memories.
And after all these, I’ll arrive somewhere else-another new place, some new people and some more memories. I’ll put them in that corner of my heart that is closest to my soul, because they are so precious.
I love my clock...

[This is not worth it, but still I dedicate this, I don’t know what to call it, to all my friends here in National Institute of Technology, Silchar- my Alma mater.]
